maven deploy for Tomcat

Maven use Tomcat Maven Plugin for manage tomcat. But some instructions are obsolete and there are a lot of questions in internet.

Cal - calendar under Cygwin

After installing Cygwin at new computer I did not find cal - the calendar utility. Thanks to the Kostya's blog - this article is still valid and I've found cal after installing util-linux package.

In following to Cell-phone file system access - I need a way to store my contacts, calendar and notes form my phone. The easiest way is to use syncml-ds-tool.

Well after conky was successful started(My conky) we can add some fun. I've chosen the weather - it is standart part of almost all conky config.

Conky is really nice tool. Hundreds articles were written around how you can setup its and it is useless to repeat them. This note is just about some details and scripts which can be helpful

Remote desktop copy and paste issue

I use rdesktop for some activities and sometimes copy/paste functions seems totally blocked at Windows machine. I've found very simple solution here.

On remote machine:

1. Open Task Manager, highlight RDPClip.exe and click the "End Process" button
2. Click the "Applications" tab, click the "New Task" button, and type the text "RDPClip.exe"

et voilà :)
